A SUSPECT transporting a large consignment of copper cables was intercepted by Richards Bay police in Mzingazi.
Richards Bay SAPS spokesperson Captain Debbie Ferreira said the driver of a white Toyota Corolla was stopped at 2am on Tuesday and found to have the boot and back seat packed full of copper cables.
Sicelo Hadebe (35) was charged with possession of suspected stolen property.
Businesses are urged to visit the Richards Bay Police Station to identify the cables.
