Dairymaids take polo honours
Teams trotted in from far and wide for the KwaMbonambi Polo Club tournament.
SIX A division and four B division teams took to the field for the KwaMbonambi Polo Club tournament.
Teams trotted in from far and wide – Mpumalanga, Underberg, Bergville, Mooi River, Richmond and the local towns of Gingindlovu and KwaMbonambi.
The A division final saw Dairymaids beat Cane Rats to claim the cup, while Honeydew beat Gold Diggers in the plate final.
Two Zululanders, KwaMbonambi’s Tickey van Eeden and Andrew Johnson, played for Gold Diggers in the plate final.
The B division final saw Kwambo’s Joey van Eeden and Gingindlovu’s Curtis Louw play for Team Logmech.
Unfortunately the went down to Team Legless who just proved too strong in the finals.

The Ginginglovu Polo Club will be holding its annual tournament tomorrow (Friday) to Sunday.
