Best of both worlds
Ride High Yamaha Racing event a success at the Khamba Pot.
THE weather may have kept some of the riders away from the Ride High Yamaha sponsored ZBA Racing event at the Khamba Pot over the weekend, but those who rode both days enjoyed the best of two worlds.
On Saturday riders had to compete with hot, dusty and windy conditions, while Sunday was totally opposite with riders hanging back as the rain and cold bit deep into their bones.
But being bikers, it did not take them long to get going and once the helmet was on the riders’ head there was no stopping them.
ZBA Racing has always promoted their events as a family outing and Sunday saw a few father and son pairs with the youngsters doing their first ‘big’ ride.
Eight-year-olds Michael and Heath were helped every inch along the way by their dads, Edwin Jewaskiewitz and Mark Woodburne.
Those who did ride enjoyed the outing with great lucky draw prizes and the warmth of the Khamba Pot afterwards.
