Flushed-out dealer gets bail

Drug flush dealer given bail.

NIGERIAN national, Christian Ifeanyi Nwangwu, who was arrested last week after failing to flush drugs down a toilet, has been granted bail and will appear again in court on 25 July.

Nwangwu is alleged to have attempted to get rid of the drugs when members of the Richards Bay Organised Crime Unit, Empangeni Crime Intelligence and Richards Bay SAPS Border Security swooped on the suspect’s flatlet in Strelitzia Road, Arboretum.

Drugs with a street value of around R100 000 were recovered from the toilet pipe system and in the flat.

They included raw cocaine and blocks of crack cocaine, manufactured on a ‘wholesale’ scale, as well as ecstasy tablets.
