FOLLOWING two successful shows last year, Switchswag Dance and Entertainment brings you ‘Continental Collision’ – an opportunity to experience various forms of authentic and explosive dance routines from around the globe.
Choreographed by local producer, Craig Reddy and junior choreographer, Letitia Subban, the show promises to be nothing less than breathtaking.
Switchswag School of Movement, launched in January 2013, has had many students come through its doors who do well by te school enhancing, equipping and promoting local stars to shine.
The school has currently been running for the past one and a half years and has graduated more than 30 local students to their first level of social dance ability, so as to promote youth development within the Richards Bay community.
The upcoming ‘Continental Collision’ show, set for 28 June, will see around 25 dancers take to the stage in many group performances as well as solos prepared by the young stars themselves.
There will be a panel of judges who will be grading students as they move onto their next level in dance. Students have been tasked to represent the various continents of the world.
Doors will open at 5.30pm and a one-hour video of behind-the-scenes at Switchswag, will play.
The show starts promptly at 6.30pm. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling Craig on 084 9263890 or Kandace 082 2679174.
