Positive about quad bikes

I AM writing this letter with reference to ‘Stressed out’ in the ZO of 16 June.

Most of us can sympathise with you over the ‘inconsiderate bikers’ and we can only assume that you are old and frail.

Instead of your negative views on some people having fun, you sit in your corner getting frustrated about the bikes and quads hurtling around making a mess and a noise. Maybe go into a positive mode.

What about asking the municipality to arrange a deal with these people who have nowhere to ride and have fun, to grant them access to use certain roads in the area between Empangeni and Alton, allowing them to play there on the sand track all day.

These people, who are called inconsiderate, might not know of any other place to ride but their back garden – so to speak.
