A HUGE manhunt is under way for the men who shot and killed a security guard at the eSikhaleni Mall this afternoon.
At around 12.50pm a security company was delivering cash to the mall when two suspects approached the guards from behind and opened fire.
One guard was shot twice, one bullet entering his throat, proving fatal. He died on the scene.
A second guard was shot in his arm. He was rushed to hospital and is in a stable condition.
A woman bystander was shot in the leg and was taken to hospital.
The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash on a trolley.
No arrests have been made, but the getaway vehicle was recovered at about 4pm and is being processed by the police.
