PHNOZI Maqanda Gina, brother of the Dukuduku man who was hacked to death on 12 May, has been arrested in connection with the murder.
The man was apprehended by the police last week.
According to the police he confessed to the murder and said retaliation was his motive.
After one of many fights between the brothers, the suspect allegedly decided to retaliate, resulting in the killing.
Following the arrest, the man made a brief appearance at Mtubatuba High Court and was remanded in custody.
The case was postponed to 20 June for further investigations.
Gina is currently being held in Mtubatuba.
