ARBORETUM Primary School travelled to Empangeni on Tuesday afternoon to take on Grantham Park Primary School in winter sports.

The first team (U13 A) girls hockey side hit off the first team action, which saw the home team claim a 2-1 win, thanks to goals from Boniswa Sibiya and Senamile Makhanya.

The first team netball followed, which saw both teams leaving it all out on the court.
But it was Arboretum who came away with a 24-10 victory.
The rugby was the last game of the day, which saw Arboretum claim a comfortable 30-7 victory.
Eighthman Ockie Barnard proved a thorn in the home team’s side, when he crossed the whitewash four times.
Corné de Waal and Lewazi Biyela crossed the chalk for Arboretum.
Talenteh Mkhwananzi dotted down for the home side, with Chadlin Samuels converting.
