A DUKUDUKU man was hacked to death, his body found this morning by children walking to school.
The 35-year old man, identified as Sipho Maqanda Gina, had multiple wounds to the face, neck and hands.
The fatal blow was to the medulla oblongata. All wounds were thought to have been made with a bush knife.
SAPS Communications Officer Lieutenant Mpontshane said Gina was killed on Monday night, probably between 8pm and 8.30pm.
He was found face-down on the road near his house in Dukuduku.
A murder investigation has been opened and SAPS are following leads however no motive has been established as yet.
