STRETCHING their unbeaten run to nine games, Thanda Royal Zulu FC needed just a solitary goal to bring home all three points from their away fixture to FC Cape Town on Saturday.
Phumelele Bhengu once again did the business, banging in a goal in the 84th of the 90 minutes, after having had one disallowed in the first half.
While the first stanza was fairly even, Amabhubesi began to dominate in the second period and the winner came as no surprise.
Now, well out of any relegation fears, Thanda are currently the most feared side of the National First Division – as promotion chasers Jomo Cosmos will find out when they travel to the uMhlathuze Stadium on 19 April.
