TWO cases of rhino deaths in KZN were reported over the weekend.
A white rhino was found dead at Thanda Private Game Reserve on Friday.
It had been shot and the horns had been removed.
A second dehorned rhino was discovered at Weenen Game Reserve on Saturday.
To date this year, 11 white and two black rhinos have been poached in the province, of which seven were in Ezemvelo state parks.
Seventeen people have been arrested linked to 11 suspected rhino poaching incidents in KZN in 2014.
