Qualifying for uThungulu colours

The swimmers will compete in Durban in May for provincial colours.

SWIMMERS took to the blocks with purpose and focus at the Arboretum town pool on Saturday, when they competed for a spot in the uThungulu team during the District High School trials.

With three swimmers selected per race, the contenders will now compete in Durban in May for provincial colours.

Swimming trials, which did not take place for two years, has now been reintroduced, to further develop swimming in the local area.

The gala was hosted by uThungulu Aquatics, with Primary Schools Trials to be held on Saturday, 8 March at the Arboretum town pool, starting at 9am.
