Mondi runners go the extra mile

Elmore and Samuel take top spots

DESPITE running a few extra kilometres, Maxed Elite runners Elmore Sibandan (21km) and Samuel Pazanga (10km) managed to win their respective races at the 28th Mondi 21km run and 10km run/walk in Richards Bay on Saturday.

Hosted by the Nashua Richards Bay Athletic Club, the race attracted a host of competitors, who finished in good times at the Bay Hall.

Many runners, who followed the prompting of marshals, said they ended up having to run extra kilometres to finish their races.
