THE Assassins team from the eShowe High School came out tops in the pre-season seven-a-side hockey tournament on Saturday.
The team was unbeaten in the round robin matches and came up against ‘The Hackers’ in the final, which they won 4-0.
Cullem Pountney said despite five teams pulling out of the tournament at the last minute, the seven teams played competitive hockey including the many non-hockey players.
The eShowe Rugby Team, who were sponsored by Sunset Rock Spur, did well with their unique style of hockey and finished fourth, while the Reggae Nights came third.
