AN ‘internal process’ is continuing after the shock suspension of Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) suspended Executive Manager, Charmayne Pountney on 23 January.
Pountney issued a statement last week indicating her concern ‘around the circumstances and motive for my immediate suspension’, saying she still awaits details of any alleged charges against her.
ZCCI President Sizwe Khumalo would not be drawn into public comment on an ‘internal matter’ but said correspondence with Pountney was ongoing.
