Re-opening the radio airwaves

Shine FM back on the airwaves

LOCAL community radio station Shine FM has moved to Richards Bay.

This was announced by the new acting station manager Thulani Zulu on Thursday.

Three months after they shut the doors and packed their microphones, the talented crew will soon be entertaining and giving information to listeners in Richards Bay, in about a month’s time.

‘We will start broadcasting soon and we very happy to have achieved one of our goals of moving to Richards Bay.

This will make it easier for our community to be constantly in contact with us,’ said Zulu.

He also mentioned the station will have new management staff and presenters.

‘Auditions for the new presenters will be hosted soon. We will inform the public on the date once it’s decided,’ he said.
