Music maestro brings hope to South African audience through music

‘THERE are better days before us’
While the world battles with the coronavirus pandemic, international recording artist Andrew Young is spreading words of comfort to fans.

The well-known saxophonist recently recorded his rendition of a popular song ‘Paradise Road’ for his South African fans as his way to bring hope during these difficult times.
Andrew is a world renowned artist who was scheduled to perform at Umfolozi Casino Hotel Resort in Empangeni in March but his show was cancelled owing to the coronavirus spread.
He started playing music when he was eight years old and was trained in clarinet and saxophone in Liverpool.
After completing his saxophone and clarinet studies in London, Andrew moved to Germany to pursue a desire for a broader and more eclectic involvement in all genres of music.
He performed as soloist with various symphony orchestras, engaging in session work and concerts alongside pop and jazz luminaries such as Matt Bianco and Precious Wilson Band.
