Enjoy the Africa Day virtual concert
Catch all your favourite musicians on screen from 1:30pm today (Monday)

JOIN millions across the continent for the Africa Day virtual concert today (Monday).
With the lockdown still in effect owing to the coronavirus, the KZN Department of Arts and Culture is taking the celebration online.

The virtual concert will be streamed on DSTV Channel 261 (1KZN TV) from 1:30pm to 3pm, and can be joined on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@ArtsKZN).
It will include a killer line-up of artists including Ntencane, Shekhinah, Brenda Mtambo, Khaya Mthethwa, Mondli Ngcobo, Noma Khumalo, Thee Legacy, Moses Ngwenya, Afro Soul, Naima Kay and Sthandwa Nzuza-Gama.
Ukhozi FM will present the show.
The music showpiece is part of the department’s efforts to support emerging and established artists in the province during the lockdown.
According to the department, the production will stream under strict guidelines, to ensure lockdown regulations such as social distancing are observed.
‘We need to continue embracing our culture and heritage even in these difficult times to ensure that we promote our diversity as the province,’ said MEC for Arts and Culture Hlengiwe Mavimbela.
