Dress up in your party gear and start a crazy three-day celebration
Celebrate weird and funky holidays during lockdown

GRAB your party hats, streamers and cooler boxes and go on a three-day lockdown celebration by enjoying the next three funky holidays, which include Frog Jumping Day, Dance Like a Chicken Day and National Chocolate Chip Day.
Tomorrow (May 13) is a great day to jump like a frog.
The roots of Frog Jumping Day go back to Mark Twain’s first short story titled ‘Jim Smiley and His Jumping Frog’, which was first published in 1865.
There is no clear reason for the particular date.
Thursday, 14 May, is Dance Like a Chicken Day.
Now is a good time to play that funky chicken dance theme song and pull out your funky dance moves.
It’s become tradition at every wedding reception to play and do the chicken dance.
The song was originally titled ‘Der Ententanz’ (The Duck Dance) and was created by Swiss accordion player, Werner Thomas of Davos in the 1950s.
Start your weekend off on Friday by indulging in chocolate as you celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day.
This day celebrates and enjoys sweet, tasty chocolate chips.
Chocolate chips are popular in cooking and baking.
Research does not find the creator, or the origin of this day.
