Health MEC leads Covid-19 screening drive in eSikhaleni

KZN Health MEC, Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu, spearheaded a public Covid-19 screening campaign in eSikhaleni on Tuesday.

She joined forces with uMhlathuze Mayor Mduduzi Mhlongo and King Cetshwayo District Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi.

Medical nurses and volunteers conducted medical questionnaires and respondents who displayed symptoms were referred to a mobile testing clinic situated at the township mall.

The MEC also addressed shoppers on preventative measures, especially emphasising social distancing.
