RICHARDS Bay SAPS have intensified their drug combatting operations and last week arrested a 43-year-old person in possession of drugs.
The intelligence driven operations in Brackenham also uncovered the illegal activities of a 36-year-old woman who was also arrested after being found in possession of a large quantity of drugs.
Both have appeared in court and were remanded in custody.
Police have increased patrols and crime prevention measures to deter drug activity in the city and surrounding suburbs and will continue with stop and search operations and patrols to curb the sale of illegal substances.
