Foskor, South Africa’s rock miner and phosphoric acid producer, which operates a Mining Division in Phalaborwa and produces globally distributed phosphate-based granular fertilisers in Richards Bay, is the only vertically integrated phosphate producer in the country.
With one of our founding values being to create a shared value for all our stakeholders, Foskor believes in long-terms sustainable development of communities within which we operate.
At Foskor we believe it is only through the socio-economic empowerment of our people can we realise our ultimate sustainability goal and operate harmoniously with our people, and flora and fauna.
In the Richards Bay area, our community empowerment projects, in 2019 focused primarily on empowering the youth, whom we believe are the heart-beat and cornerstone of the future South Africa.
We are optimistic about improving the quality of life of our people ensuring that our initiative provides them with critical skills and restores their dignity.
