SATURDAY, 15 Feb:Valentine’s dance by moonlight hosted by Richards Bay SPCA. Entry is R60 for adults, plus a bag or tin of animal food, and R20 for children. Food and cold drinks will be on sale. For more information, contact the SPCA on 035 7532086

SATURDAY, 21 Feb: Zululand Hospice fund-raising Dance at the Empangeni Tennis and Bowling Club from 6.30pm. Tables of eight are available at R960 or R120 per ticket. Only 10 tables available.
Deejay Jaco Ras will be on the decks to entertain guests late into the night with a variety of music.

THURSDAY, 27 Feb: Don’t miss BWA Zululand’s first networking session for 2020 on Thursday, 27 February at 5pm at Porky’s at the Lake in Richards Bay. Hosted by Serfontein and Richards, enjoy an interesting Q&A with the 2019 Regional Business Achievers’ Award winners, a quick work make-up tutorial by SLAY make-up design as well as trendy work fashion tips. SATURDAY, 29 Feb: Bargain buys at Richards Bay Sea Scouts’ Steelbridge Market from 9am to 2pm.

SATURDAY, 07 Mar: Entertainment feast at the Zululand Yacht Club with live bands performing in support of farmers in drought areas. The event begins at noon until 7pm at 1 Commodore Close in Meerensee, with lots of children’s entertainment, crafts, gin, beer and coffee stands, a braai area and a host of fun activities and live entertainment.

SATURDAY, 07 Mar: An evening of fun and laughter with a spectacular line-up of Durban’s most talented comedians at the Warrior Princess Comedy Evening. It takes place at the Durban North Conference Centre from 8.30pm. Funds are being raised to support Warrior Princess Rhyah Sai on her healing journey. For ticket sales contact Pam on 083 5270104

FRIDAY, 27 Mar: Playwright and actor Wellington Makwakwa will, for the last time, narrate his childhood story ‘Gogo’s Boy – The Last Bow’ at the Bon Hotel in Empangeni.
