RICHARDS Bay police arrested three Nigerian nationals for drug possession during an intelligence-driven operation on Friday.
The suspects’ loot of drugs, including cocaine and rock – which is classified as the most addictive form of cocaine – as well as cash, were confiscated.
Led by Captain Michael, the team of officers included Warrant Officer Raidoo, Sergeant Dunge, Sergeant Naicker and Constable Dlamini.
They acted on information received about the men and their illegal activities.
All three face charges of possession of drugs and of being undocumented non-nationals, while one of the three faces a third charge of bribery.
They are expected to appear in court today (Monday) and will likely remain in custody for seven days until their bail applications.
