King Cetshwayo Cluster police spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, said the African male, estimated to be about 48 years old, was wearing navy jeans, brown belt, brown jacket, black shirt and beads on his left arm
EMPANGENI police are trying to trace relatives of an unknown man who was found deceased in Hancock Street by a motorist in November.
King Cetshwayo Cluster police spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, said the African male, estimated to be about 48 years old, was wearing navy jeans, brown belt, brown jacket, black shirt and beads on his left arm.
‘The body was found in a decomposed state,’ said Mdlalose.
In a separate incident, a farmer discovered a human skeleton on his farm in October.
‘The man was walking on Farm-GSA along Thrush Road, Empangeni, when he came across human skeleton bones. It is suspected that the person, who we believe was a male, died a long time ago.
‘Police are investigating two inquest cases and we urge anyone who might have information to come forward and assist us to find the next of kin of the deceased.
‘They can contact the investigating officer Constable Wakheni Mbhele on 078 5175046,’ said Mdlalose.
