SATURDAY: K9 parade and trail run at the Zululand Kayak Club. There is a 3km and a 5km K9 walk (both to start at 4pm), and a 10km trail run (start at 5pm) for those wanting to push it a bit further. Entries on the day are R80 (3km), R100 (5km) and
R120 (10km)
SUNDAY: The Meerensee craft market takes place from 9am to 1pm opposite the Meerensee Mall
SUNDAY: Gijima for CANSA 5km run/walk takes place at Addison Park in Empangeni. Commemorating World Cancer Day, the run/walk is open to all, both children and adults. The cost of R70 for adults and R50 for children includes a CANSA wrap

SATURDAY, 15 Feb: A Valentine’s dance fund-raiser will be held at the St Francis Parish Hall in Richards Bay. For more information call 083 3104589
SATURDAY, 15 Feb: Dance the night away under the moonlight to raise funds for Richards Bay SPCA. The event will be held from 6pm at the SPCA’s premises in Meerensee. EVERY SATURDAY:The Mtunzini Country Club’s morning market from 9am to noon. From pancakes, fresh pies and ‘vetkoek’, to toasties, samoosas and curries, there is something tantalising for everyone’s taste buds.
EVERY SATURDAY: eSikhaleni flea market from 7am on the open space opposite the Complex, next to Build it.
From jewellery to clothing and much more, this popular market is drawing crowds from far and wide on a weekly basis.
