ABOUT 80 Eskom customers were still without electricity on Wednesday afternoon after the Nseleni/Mtubatuba 132kV tower collapsed during a storm on Sunday.
Technicians began emergency bypass repairs, providing some areas with a temporary supply for short periods of time before restoring full supply on Tuesday afternoon at 3.30pm, with the exception of the 80 households.
Eskom apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked residents for their patience.
