Crime suspects rounded up in eShowe

THIRTEEN suspects aged between 25 and 50 years will appear in the eShowe and Inkayezi magistrate’s courts on charges ranging from theft to drunken driving following an operation on Friday.
eShowe SAPS crime prevention and detective branches were supported by uMlalazi Public Safety, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and security company personnel for the operation.
The aim of the exercise was to remove drug dealers and other criminal elements from the streets in eShowe.
Three suspects were arrested for possession of dagga, one for possession of drugs, suspected to be cocaine, six for assault, two suspects for drunken driving and one for theft.
