Blood drive in Empangeni

A BLOOD drive will be held in Empangeni’s Civic Centre between 10am and 6pm today (Thursday).

Blood donors are urged to visit the mobile blood bank to make much-needed donations.

Every day more than 3 300 blood donations are required to ensure sufficient stocks.

At this time of year it is especially crucial that the SANBS blood banks have enough blood stocks, owing to the high number of incidents, predominantly road accidents, that occur during the festive season.
