AN apparent drug deal gone wrong led to the murder of a young man who was gunned down in Dumisani Makaye Village in the early hours of last Monday morning.
Two men aged 21 were accosted in their home by three armed men who opened fire on the unsuspecting friends.
One of the men was shot dead, while his friend was critically injured and is fighting for his life in hospital.
It is believed that the deceased had taken refuge at his friend’s house after being homeless for a few weeks.
Police suspect that the incident might have been drug related.
