RBM recognises long serving employees
RBM lauds staff celebrating their 40- year, 30-year, 20-year and 10-year milestones at the company

Richards Bay Minerals celebrated its loyal and committed employees during its annual Long Service Awards on 13 November.
Staff who are celebrating their 40- year, 30-year, 20-year and 10-year milestones at the company this year were recognised during a glamorous function held at the Premier Hotel in Richards Bay.
Rio Tinto Managing Director Stephane le Blanc, as well as RBM Managing Director graced the evening with their presence, and proudly handed over the certificates of merit.
‘People are what makes the difference,’ Le Blanc said in his keynote address.
‘RBM started operations in 1977, which means that those receiving their 40-year long service awards have been here almost since the beginning. You can be proud of what you have done at RBM. We aim to be here for another 42 years. Our job is to make sure that RBM keeps growing,’ he said.
Duvenhage also congratulated the long service awards recipients. He lauded the fact that there were an average of 1800 years’ experience seated in the room.
‘We salute you; you are our heroes. You are the custodians of RBM’s legacy and
shaping the next generation.’
