Fun events and activities both this weekend and future events to diarise

THERE’S no need to find yourself at a loose end this weekend, with the bumper eSikhawini flea market to look forward to, as well as the Grantleigh music festival.

There are also many future events to diarise and save the date.

Saturday, from 7am – eSikhawini Flea Market will be held at the complex next to BuildIt.
There are many items on sale at the market, including clothes, furniture, food, and other household items.

 

Saturday, from midday – Top quality musical entertainment is lined up for the Grantleigh music festival.
Headline acts to look forward to include Bad Peter, David Jenkins (Qadasi), DJ Nivaadh Singh and Nathan McNeil while supporting acts include the Grantleigh marimba band, Matthew Oscroft and Andiswa Mazibuko.      Tickets cost R130pp for adults and R50 for children under 12, and can be purchased on www.quicket.co.za.

 

Save the date for these future events:

Friday, 25 October – Poetic night with Magcwabe at the City of uMhlathuze auditorium in Richards Bay.
The show will include a range of South African poets.

 

Sunday, 27 October, 9am –  CANSA Shades of Pink 3km Fun Walk is set to take place in KwaDukuza.
