Deceased’s firearms must be handed in
These can be handed in at any local police station or nearest gun shop
THE KwaMsane police cluster, headed by Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, has called on families who keep their deceased’s firearms to hand them in at the nearest police station. Mdletshe said about 168 of these firearms have not been handed in.
‘We have been working with the Department of Home Affairs to trace those firearms.
‘These can be handed in at any local police station or nearest gun shop.
Mdletshe said KwaMsane police will embark on a door-to-door campaign to collect all unlicensed firearms.
