GUILTY as charged!
The eMpembeni father who brutally killed his two children last month was found guilty of the crime in the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Thursday.
Nkosinathi Ndlela (38), a former interpreter at the Empangeni Magistrate’s Court, confessed to the murders and was sentenced on Monday.

During court proceedings, Ndlela not only admitted to having hung his daughter Unamadla (4) and son Sambulo (8), but gave specific details on how he carried out the vicious double murder.
He described how he used his neck ties and shoe laces to hang his two children before he attempted to kill himself.
According to those in court, Ndlela explained that his nine-year marriage to a radio presenter had taken a turn for the worst and an argument provoked him into killing his children.
Ndlela was arrested after he handed himself over to Empangeni police.
