What’s on in Zululand this weekend
Here’s your line-up of weekend entertainment

THIS weekend is packed full of exciting events in and around Empangeni and Richards Bay, leaving no reason to be at a loose end. While Zululanders are good at socialising, this weekend’s calendar of events includes the SANCA/Eyethu Bay Watch Walk Away from drugs. So mark these dates in your diary to not miss out.

Saturday – Annual SANCA/Eyethu Bay Watch Walk Away from Drugs event at the Zululand Multi Sport Club in Meerensee at 7:30am. This fun 5km walk with prizes for schools is open to everyone regardless of age, and schools are encouraged to ensure as many of their learners as possible participate. 28 September – #WeGotUZululand at 1 Nature’s Way (Dube Station) in Mtunzini, featuring the youngest master of spin, DJ Arch Junior

4 October – BWA Zululand Regional Businesswomen of the Year awards at Umfolozi Casino Resort from 7pm. The black tie event will have former public protector, Advocate Thuli Madonsela, as guest speaker and will include a 3-course meal and live entertainment.
