King Cetshwayo district water problems prioritised
District Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi will be sharing these and other plans with affected communities in the coming weeks
NEW boreholes will be installed and hand pumps are being repaired as part of interventions to address water service delivery issues in various wards across the King Cetshwayo District.
District Mayor Nonhle Mkhulisi will be sharing these and other plans with affected communities in the coming weeks.
This follows water-related concerns raised by the KwaMthethwa community under the uMfolozi Municipality last week.
Mkhulisi and her team of councillors and management met with the community of ward 15, Shwashweni and representatives from neighbouring wards 10 and 11 last week Thursday to address their concerns.
The district’s interventions will not only apply to the affected wards, but also extend to other areas based on decisions taken jointly by the district and its local municipalities at the June service delivery meetings.
