Female police head two major roadblocks

FEMALE police officers held a fruitful cluster operation last Friday.
An all-women team conducted two major roadblocks along Nkwalini area and Siza Garage as part of their Women’s Day commemoration.
The initiative was spearheaded by uMlalazi Municipality in a joint venture with King Cetshwayo Police Cluster and other stakeholders including members of uMhlathuze Traffic Police, Road Accident Fund, RAM and Correctional Services.
uMlalazi Mayor Thelumoya Zulu not only supported the initiative but also applauded all participants for the well planned project.
During his address, Zulu emphasised the importance of women’s resilience to assist in shaping societies and highlighted the major role they played in striving for a democratic and non-sexist South Africa.
Zulu urged women to stand strong and united in fighting for their rights, vision and opposition to women abuse.
After all the formalities, all participants were treated to a delicious lunch at Aloe Lifestyle Hotel in eShowe.
