Man detained by police over the weekend in Aquadene for allegedly attempting to kidnap a teenager was released after no criminal charges were formulated against him
THE man detained by police over the weekend after members of the public apprehended and attacked him for allegedly attempting to kidnap a teenager in Aquadene on Friday, was released after no criminal charges were formulated against him.
He was accused of attempting to lure two domestic workers, young schoolchildren and a 16-year-old teenager into his vehicle.
The mother of the teenage girl said she was disappointed about his release, because their family would now live in fear.
