Thanda seek turnaround

Thanda look for better things in 2014

HAVING showed far greater skill and commitment in their last match, Thanda Royal Zulu FC will be wanting a repeat performance when they host Witbank Spurs at the uMhlathuze Stadium at 3.00pm on Saturday.

Their 2-2 home draw against Baroka FC last time out, before the mid-season break, was proof that the rebuilding of the young side is going well after all the top stars were last when their promotion bid failed last season.

Thanda’s 2013/2014 record is a poor one, with the Amabubhesi firmly rooted to the foot of the table, having conceded the most goals (25) and found the net fewer times (9) than any other of the National First Division clubs.

New head coach Thami Ngubane and his sidekick Ronnie Moroka will be hoping for good crowd support as they start their climb up the ladder.
