POLICE have warned residents to be on the alert after a Rich-ards Bay family was hijacked outside their home in Arboretum on Wednesday evening and robbed of their belongings, cash and cell phones.
Four suspects in a white vehicle confronted the residents in Tipuana Street and drove with them to Mandlazini where they abandoned the victims and their car.
The abandoned vehicle was found with different number plates inside the boot.
