Criminals strike several Richards Bay residences
Residents living in fear as crime wave hits Richards Bay

A CRIME surge in recent weeks has left Richards Bay residents in fear as a group of criminals continue with their armed robbery sprees.
On Wednesday night a family in Wildenweide’s Buffalo Bend was robbed at gunpoint and the homeowner shot three times. Other family members were assaulted during the ordeal.
Earlier that evening a hijacking was reported in Tipuana Street in Arboretum where victims were taken from their home to Madlanzini and the hijackers abandoned both vehicles.
Attempted house burglaries were averted in Via Cassiandra and Olienhoutkoppie streets in Arboretum.
Last week two armed robberies were reported in the same suburb.
