Experimental buoy lost at sea

THE Richards Bay Ski Boat Club has issued an alert to all sea-goers, to be on the lookout for a large yellow buoy which two weeks ago broke free from its moorings south of Durban.
The experimental buoy belongs to Sappi Saiccor and was last seen off Hibberdene on the south coast.
Owing to the ocean currents, it is expected to reach the northern KZN coast imminently, if not already.
Sappi has offered a substantial reward to the person or people who locate the buoy.
