THE City of uMhlathuze Executive Council (Exco) took the council to the people last Wednesday.
Top executives held an Exco meeting at the Hlanganani Community Hall in eSikhaleni and proceeded to the uMfolozi TVET College sports ground for a public council.
Community members had the opportunity to witness the sitting of an executive council meeting, which included debates by councillors.
‘This is part of the council’s decision to make council accessible to the communities and educate them on how council takes decisions as representatives of the people,’ said city Mayor Mhlongo.
