Man arrested after 26-year-old woman’s decomposed body was found dumped in Empangeni

POLICE are investigating a case of murder and rape after a young woman’s decomposed body was found dumped in a bush in Cactus Drive in Empangeni.

Twenty-six-year-old Sne Ximba was allegedly strangled to death and found half-naked on 27 March.

It is also suspected that she had been raped.

According to an Empangeni police source, a suspect, Siyabonga Myeni, was arrested and appeared in court last week.
