New fleet to fast-track service delivery

KWADUKUZA Mayor Ricardo Mthembu has vowed to fast-track service delivery to the community.

He made the undertaking at the unveiling of 11 new vehicles on Tuesday at the Killarney Toyota dealership.

The vehicles are intended for key municipal service delivery departments, replacing the municipality’s aging fleet.

‘This is in direct response to concerns about the shortage of vehicles,’ said Mthembu.

‘The new vehicles (R3.8-million) cost less than would the cost of repairing the aging fleet.’
