Joy in Gingindlovu as water flows again
While grateful that water supply has returned, a resident who did not want to be named, said no water in the town is a regular occurrence in the town

GINGINDLOVU residents woke up on Wednesday morning with water in their taps, after being dry since Friday, 12 April.
While grateful that water supply has returned, a resident who did not want to be named, said no water in the town is a regular occurrence in the town.
The resident also said the disruption of the water supply appears to have stemmed from an overtime dispute.
King Cetshwayo District Municipality responded to an enquiry by the Zululand Observer, saying they are aware of three incidents relating to water disruptions in Gingindlovu since last weekend.
‘Each incident was attended to and the water supply was restored as soon as possible,’ said Municipal Manager, Mbali Ndlovu.
‘One incident involved a burst pipe and was repaired as soon as it was reported.
Responding to the overtime dispute with staff, Ndlovu said the municipality could not confirm that the service delivery issues were related to the administrative matters.
The Municipality apologised for the inconvenience caused to consumers and assures them of their commitment to service delivery.
