Country/pop singer Zandré Delport serenades shoppers at Bay mall
CHRISTMAS shopping became a whole lot merrier when country/pop singer Zandré Delport took to the stage at the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre on Thursday to entertain hundreds of surprised patrons.
Shoppers enjoyed listening and dancing to 13 songs performed by the dynamic Zandré, including covers of Shakira’s Waka Waka and Kurt Darren’s Kom Bietjie Hier.
It was her second performance in the local mall.
She has also serenaded crowds at Richards Bay’s annual Dolosfees three years in a row.
‘I always enjoy coming to Richards Bay with its fun festivals, wonderful guest houses and lush green landscapes,’ says Zandré.
The hard-working musician’s appearance on Thursday was her last act before going holiday after touring for five consecutive years.
Her latest album called Alice in Nashville is her third CD released.
‘I’m also looking forward to recording a duet album next year with Dennis East, who produced Alice in Nashville.’
