SO I know everyone must be sick and tired of hearing about the John Ross Parkway road works, but really, the entrance to Empangeni is an eyesore.
Never mind what it looks like, motorists are herded onto a narrow road with faulty robots, some people have no idea about the rules of the road or how a four-way stop works.
As for the Caltex white rabbit standing at the intersection every morning, the poor pet must fear for his life as cars rev and push their way into the queue.
But the messy intersection hit an all time low this week.
Both traffic lights at the Empangeni cemetery and at Inyanga Motors were oit of order. Cars were bumper to bumper and not a traffic official in sight.
By the time I get to work in the morning, I’m fed up with Empangeni and just want to go back to the safety of Richards Bay.
