Empangeni Hospital to celebrate World Kidney Day on Thursday

Thursday is World Kidney Day and in commemoration thereof, Life Empangeni Private Hospital will be hosting an open day to create awareness and educate the public about renal failure.

The first 20 patients will be tested for urea and electrolytes (the kidney function test), sponsored by Ampath Laboratories.

Community members will be able to have their health screenings done by the hospital’s caring nursing staff.

The event will run from 8am to 1pm.
